Yo ho ho, Ahoy to you all :-)

Post by Piratesteve » Sun Jun 23, 2013 9:48 pm

Hey just thought I would introduce myself, I'm steve from Leicestershire,I've only just joined the WGW forum and purchased my ticket yesterday for my very first WGW this November, I can't wait, I've been wanting to go for years but none of my friends are into it so I've finally decided to go for it and hopefully meet some really cool new friends :-)

Welcome Steve. As GingerDoll says, it tends to be a little quiet in here between Whitby's, but I'm sure you will find plenty going on to keep you interested. Once you taste your first Whitby, you will be smitten and want to keep coming back. Hopefully bump in to you sometime over November. Have fun :)

Hey thankyou GingerDoll, Bobby Canon, Kruffles, Tez, The Nobodie, Korpse and Miss_rtg for your welcomes :-) yeah I can't wait till the November WGW, hope to see you all there, be great to meet you, I've been told about WGW for the last few years and really looking forward to it, just one quick question, as I'll be there on my own, is it easy to get chatting and knowing other people to hangout with ?? Many thanks steve :-)

if your there in time check out Loki's whitby virgins meet,
Any of the pubs, The Little Angel, The Ellie, Shambles etc,
The list goes on, it all depends on how out going you are!
and of course there's the forum meet, or post a meet up yourself.

Hi Steve! I'm pretty much a newbie here too :-) Still waiting to go to my first WGW but I know I will soon! Thankfully, the hub and I live 300 miles closer to Whitby so that should make it easier, lol! Welcome and I hope you enjoy the forum - there's a lovely bunch of people here so kick back and have a Jaffa Cake ;-)

I'll swap you. You can have the Jaffa Cakes if I can have the Fig Rolls :P Thankies! I hope we can make it too and I'm sure you can expect nothing but an amazing time. So far, anyone I've ever spoken to who's been to a WGW has never had anything bad to say about it (apart from the weather). I can imagine it must be such a wonderful atmosphere and Whitby town itself is just gorgeous.
