Quasimodo - new goth music from Leeds

Post by wessie_predator » Sun Mar 24, 2013 3:08 pm

Hello all,

Just a quick one to pimp Quasimodo, a new goth rock three-piece from Leeds featuring ex-members of Rome Burns and Action Directe and doing old-school goth in a Phantom Chords/Bad Seeds style.

Debut EP 'Liberty, Equality, Atrocity' has been receiving good notices so far, with Intravenous Magazine describing it as "A proto-gothic post punk mix of hard guitars, jaunty keyboards, sharp-tongued lyrics and hard repetitive beats" and Mick Mercer noting it as "controlled yet deeply moody like Billy Idol having a nightmare, the rhythm supple, the guitar held back but stately and the overall feel one of an intriguing dignity."

As this the modern age, you can download all tracks gratis at the below. So feel free to fill your pointy boots!

Beep beep,
